This guide explains how to configure access permissions for users and roles in the Van Sales module.
You can assign feature -level access to specific Roles or Staff members.
Step 1. Go to Van Sales→ Settings → Permissions
Step 2. Select New button
Step 3. In the Add permissions popup, select Role or Staff
Role: Choose the role to apply permissions to ( e.g., Admin, Technician, Salesperson).
Full name: select an individual staff member if you want to assign permissions manually. You may assign permissions to either Role or Staff, or both. Staff-level permissions override Role-based ones
Step 4. Configure Feature Access
Some permissions correspond to the following menus:
Van Sales Requisition corresponds to the Van Stock Receiving menu.
Van Sales Vehicle corresponds to the Vans Management menu.
Van Sales Stock Return corresponds to the Van Stock Return menu.
Each feature supports different types of access:
View ( Own): Allow users to view only the transactions that they are involved in, and not those of other users.
View (Global): Allows users to view all transactions in the system, without restrictions based on ownership or involvement.
Create: Allows users to create new transactions in the system.
Edit: Allows users to modify existing transactions that they have access to.
Delete: Allows users to delete existing transactions that they have access to.
Note: Only one of either View (Own) or View ( Global) should be selected per feature
Step 5. After setting permissions for the selected role or staff member, click Save to apply the changes. The updated permissions take effect immediately.
